iTune Card users, BEWARE!!

iTune cards are made to make payments for iTunes and apple products, instead of credit cards, so be warned of using this card outside these stipulated places of use, to avoid being scammed.

It’s no longer news that scammers now use this simple, fast and irreversible method of fund transfer for their fraudulent activities. All they have to do is to convince their victims to buy an iTune card, recharge it and share the 16-digit code on the back of the card; once this is done, the money in that card will be completely stolen, and the owner of the card will be left with nothing but a dime-less material.

Here’s some screenshots of a chat between a scammer and Canadian woman Josie DuMaurier who luckily is aware of these scamming activities lately.

This is the impersonated profile used by the scammer

The scammer claimed to be dealing on iTubes Card Business, is there something as such? Be careful with your infos you share with people, tell them nothing about yourself, not your bank account number, or credit card number, tell them nothing if you want to be on a safe side. And Lastly, don’t forget to spread this awareness to everyone, and drop your comments in our tiny little innocent box below.
