iTune cards are made to make payments for iTunes and apple products, instead of credit cards, so be warned of using this card outside these stipulated places of use, to avoid being scammed.
It’s no longer news that scammers now use this simple, fast and irreversible method of fund transfer for their fraudulent activities. All they have to do is to convince their victims to buy an iTune card, recharge it and share the 16-digit code on the back of the card; once this is done, the money in that card will be completely stolen, and the owner of the card will be left with nothing but a dime-less material.
Here’s some screenshots of a chat between a scammer and Canadian woman Josie DuMaurier who luckily is aware of these scamming activities lately.
